Intergenerational Motherhood vs. Generational Motherhood

The term “breaking cycles” is thrown around a lot these days. Generational cycles that are toxic and deteriorative to our health. What about those intergenerational cycles? What about intergenerational motherhood and all the good mojo that is passed down from grandmother to mother to daughter? How do we determine what things are good and what we need to let go of? Today in the Bunker, Keri shares a story about her own mother and what she has chosen to keep. Keri also shares a poem she wrote in honor of her daughters. Let’s talk about mama trauma, motherhood, generational cycles, intergenerational motherhood, adoption, childhood trauma, poetry, poems, daughter and a mother’s love.
